Intellia is at the forefront of the promising CRISPR/ Cas9 technology which can modify, insert or delete DNA sequences of cells. With great potential to cure human genetic disease, the company was founded by Atlas Ventures and Caribou Biosciences.
As part of the building renovations at 130 Brookline, MITIMCo commissioned our firm to design a speculative lab suite which was selected by Intellia for their new facilities. The light filled open space with glass enclosed offices and meeting rooms offered direct visuals to the science spaces with full height glazed partitions. Analytica and tissue culture rooms were modified to meet the new tenant requirements. Bright orange accent walls and dynamic flooring patterns provide visual interest.
