Founded by two MIT professors, 24M has developed a breakthrough battery technology that provides low cost, reliable, high density, long-life, sustainable energy storage. The company’s new facilities are located within the Cambridge Innovation Cluster, an area designed to foster collaboration between innovative companies, MIT scientists and engineers. 24M occupies 36,000 SF at 130 Brookline Street, a 1920’s building recently renovated by MIT.
The facility contains a dry lab/clean room assembly -with a separate energy efficient HVAC system- formation/testing lab, R&D lab, machine shop, and support areas. The office area includes large and small conference rooms, huddle areas, open office plan, cafeteria, and break-out areas.
